About Higher Secondary Program (Class XII)

The Higher Secondary Education (Std. 12th) program at Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) is offered in three specialized streams: Arts (Humanities), Commerce, and Science. This flexible open learning program is government-recognized and equivalent to Class 12th of any state or national board.

Government Recognized: Class 12th certificates issued by GSOS are fully valid for Higher Education (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, NEET, JEE), Job Placement, Competitive Exams, and Official Government Verification.

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Age

16 years completed as on 31st July of admission year

Prior Qualification

Class 10th (SSC) Passed from any recognized board

No Upper Age Limit

Open for all candidates without any maximum age bar
